CrockerCote^® and CrockerShield^®  Non-Foil Lidding

   H.S.Crocker has spent several years working toward the development of a non-foil lid. Over the past years, different versions were tested and most would fail in one area or another. There was always one slight modification that would be needed to find the right recipe that our customers would find acceptable.

Do we have a non-foil lid today? Yes and we are working everyday to expand the capabilities of our new lidding structure so that it has various family members each of which will serve the market place with its special requirements.

• All of H.S. Crocker non-foils can be recycled.

• Less weight compared to foil - this represents less transportation costs - thereby reducing pollution.

• CrockerCote® renewable material content is 71%.

• CrockerShield® is the most recycled plastic, the recycle symbol is #1.

• For single serve items - CrockerCote® and CrockerShield® can aid in removal of plastic overcaps.

Today the trend has moved more and more to non-foil lidding to take advantage of the metal detection systems that are available and to be able to reassure our customers, customer that every step along the way is with a complete guarantee of safety and satisfaction.

Our goal is to never stop but instead continue forward seeking better non-foil products to compliment our customer needs.
